While waiting for the kids to fall asleep tonight, I somehow found myself watching the "Thriller" video on YouTube. Even though I know all about the video, know all the words to the song, and recognize it as a great symbol of American culture, I had NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN the video.
Shocking... I know.
Over 13 minutes of Michael Jackson alternately whispering softly in his high voice and dancing with zombies - it lived up to 25 years of rumor and suspense.
Unfortunately, the kids saw me trying out my zombie moves and started to giggle. They mistakenly thought I was "walking the dinosaur" and I had to straighten them out.
Can't have my children confused on the finer points of retro 80's move busting now, can I?
